What We Believe

Our Doctrinal Statement

We believe in the personal, holy and loving God of grace and judgment who is revealed in Scripture.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the God of the Bible who was born of a virgin, was confirmed to be God’s Son by the performance of miracles, was crucified for the sin of the world, raised from the dead, was glorified at God’s right hand as King of kings and Lord of lords, and is coming to raise the dead, destroy the universe, and judge the world.

We believe the Bible is the final, complete authoritative, and inspired Word of God.

We believe the church is made up of all the saved in the world and those who are reconciled to God.

We believe one is saved from sin by the grace of God, the blood of Christ, and obedience to the gospel.

We believe one becomes a Christian like people did in the books of Acts by belief, repentance, confession and baptism.

We believe Christians should worship upon the first day of the week by singing, praying, teaching, giving, and partaking of the Lord’s Supper.

We believe Christians are to grow in the likeness of Christ as they teach the gospel to others, edify the church, and care for the needy.

We believe the church of the New Testament exists today wherever the gospel of Christ is taught and followed.
